Funny Pam is totally hysterical

It’s a face of sheer terror. You can almost hear the scream, feel the panic.

The funny thing is that this horror-stricken blonde is Pamela Stephenson, the comical star from BBC-TV Not The Nine O’Clock News.

Pamela’s latest role is something completely different.

She turns up in a film made as an affectionate reminder of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.

It’s more than twenty vears since a girl, played by Janet Leigh, was murdered in the shower in that classic movie.

Now Pamela keeps her own appointment with fear in a sequence that recalls the heart-stopping scene.

The film has been made to promote a new record by the rock band Landscape, whose drummer Richard Burgess is a friend of Pamela.

He knew she'd be a howling success.
